The Saskatoon Police Service is warning the public that potentially fatal cocaine is circulating in the city.
Officers are currently investigating an incident involving what are believed to be two overdose deaths following the intake of cocaine.
They remind that public that there is a risk of injury or death with taking any drug not prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a pharmacist.
Those who experience or witness an overdose and seek emergency help are protected by the Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Act.
Signs and symptoms of an overdose include slow or no breathing; gurgling, gasping or snoring; clammy and cool skin; blue lips or nails; and difficulty waking up or staying awake.
