The Prince Albert Police Service says human remains found in a wooded area in the 400 Block of 19th Street East last month have been identified as 41-year-old Darcy Rabbitskin.
A Forensic Anthropologist and Forensic Pathologist assisted investigators in identifying the remains.
Darcy was reported missing to police by family on October 22, 2024, after a media release was issued on October 17th advising the public that human remains had been located.
His family last saw Darcy this past July and officers interacted with Darcy Rabbitskin on July 16th this summer. At that time Darcy was wearing a purple and blue t-shirt, blue jeans and grey shoes and had long dark hair.
The Prince Albert Criminal Investigations Division continue to investigate the circumstances of Darcy Rabbitskin’s death. Anyone with information about the last time Darcy Rabbitskin was last seen in Prince Albert or has information about his death is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
