A man is recovering from extensive injuries to his face after an assault Tuesday evening just after 7. Saskatoon Police received a report of an assault in progress in the intersection of 20th Street West and Avenue C South. An inured man was found with extensive injures and was transported by ambulance to hospital in stable condition.

Officers were told two men had assaulted the victim. They were located and arrested without incident. The 24-year-old and 30-year-old are charged with aggravated assault and were both found to be breaching court-ordered conditions. The 30-year-old is also charged with obstructing a police officer.
