Saskatoon Police were called to a hotel in the 1800 block of Idylwyld Drive Saturday morning around 8 for a weapons complaint. Officers were told a man had pointed a firearm during a verbal altercation. When they arrived, the police were told an unknown man had approached the victim’s motorcycle, but the male fled after being confronted.
He came back with another male who pointed a firearm at the victim. It was believed the suspects then entered a nearby room. Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect and report seizing an imitation firearm. A 40-year-old man is facing charges that include assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon. He was also arrested on outstanding warrants from the Saskatoon Police Service.
