Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck has unveiled her new Shadow Cabinet, complete with 15 new members.
With the gains made, the NDP now have 27 spots in the legislature, up from 14. Several highlights of the NDP cabinet include Beck herself, who grew up on a farm near Lang, taking on the roles of Minister of Agriculture, Rural Affairs, Intergovernmental Affairs and Executive Council.
Vicki Mowat will remain as NDP Health Critic. Matt Love will continue to be Shadow Minister of Education, and Trent Wotherspoon remains as Shadow Minister of Finance and Saskatchewan Crop Insurance.
April Chiefcalf, who beat out Sask. Party member David Buckingham in Saskatoon Westview, will be Shadow Minister of Housing.
