The Saskatoon Police Service has arrested another individual in connection to a homicide investigation dating back to August, as well, they have laid an additional charge against an already identified suspect.
In a news release SPS says investigators attended a correctional facility in Saskatoon and arrested a 37-year-old man for indecently interfering with and offering an indignity to human remains. He had previously been charged with the second-degree murder of Jordan Lee Morin. On this same day, investigators arrested a 28-year-old man from the same correctional facility in relation to this investigation; he has been charged with the second-degree murder of Jordan Morin. Both appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court Thursday morning.
September 16th a 27-year-old Saskatoon woman was charged for being accessory after the fact to murder. The woman was also charged with indecently interfere with and offer indignity to human remains.
On August 16th police responded to an injured person call in the 200 block of Avenue I South. Human remains were located on the property. The 37-year-old suspect was arrested at that time as was a 24-year-old woman who was charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
