The Saskatoon Police Service’s Major Crime Section is asking the public for assistance in helping with their investigation into the city’s 13th homicide of 2024.

Back on Friday evening, a 20-year-old woman was found deceased in a parking lot in the 1300 block of 8th Street East. In a news release Monday, the S-P-S says they have arrested and charged a 36-year-woman with first degree murder. She made her first court appearance Monday morning. The S-P-S are asking the public for any available dash cam footage from vehicles traveling westbound in the 1300 block on 8th Street East between 6:15 and 6:45 p.m. on November 15. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the S-P-S at 306-975-8200 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
