Around 10:50 p.m. on Friday while en route to a different call, Prince Albert Police say their officers saw what they believed was an injured male in the area of 10th Street West and 1st Avenue West.
A 17-year-old had injuries that were consistent with assault. He was transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects had fled before police arrived but not long after suspects were sotted but took off on foot. A K-9 track was conducted and was successful in locating two suspects who were in the custody of another officer.
P.A. Police say an improvised firearm was located at the scene. The two males aged 17 and 21 were then arrested and as a result, both have been charged with assault and breaching court ordered conditions.
