A man and two women are facing approximately 20 charges following an evade police incident.
Around 9:30 p.m. Monday night, an officer tried to conduct a traffic stop on a white pick up at 29th Street and Avenue O North but the driver refused to stop.
After a brief chase, additional officers located a truck matching the description, in a driveway in the 800 block of 3rd Street East. In a news release the Saskatoon Police Service says the driver rammed a police vehicle, which had pulled in behind the truck, before trying to flee on foot.
The male driver, age 23 and two female passengers, age 27 and 29 were taken into custody. Officers determined the vehicle was stolen and a search of the truck turned up a loaded, sawed-off shotgun. No one was injured during the incident.
The three are facing charges including Possession of Stolen Property, Evade Police, Possession of Methamphetamine and firearm related charges.
