Police charge 16-year-old with First Degree Murder in Saskatoon’s 13th homicide

Another person has been charged with the death of 20-year-old Jordanna Kucher.

On the evening of November 15th, Saskatoon police responded to a parking lot in the 1300 block of 8th Street East where the Kindersley woman was found dead.

Police determined they were dealing with the city’s 13th homicide and initially charged a 36-year-woman with first degree murder. Katelin Shawna McGillivary’s next court appearance is December 12th.

Now, officers have arrested and are charging a 16-year-old youth with First Degree Murder. He will make his first court appearance Thursday.

Investigators encourage owners of vehicles that drove westbound in the 1300 Block of 8th Street East from 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on November 15th to produce any dash cam video captured.
