An elderly couple from Robsart, Saskatchewan have died in a three-vehicle collision near Grassy Lake, Alberta, which was fatal for all parties but one.
On Monday at 5:57 p.m., Taber RCMP, Fire, and EMS were dispatched to the scene on Highway 3, between Medicine Hat and Lethbridge.
Investigation determined that a Dodge Ram hauling a trailer, a GMC truck and a Ford Escape all collided.
The driver and passenger of the Dodge Ram, an 84-year-old man and 86-year-old woman, were both declared dead at the scene, as was the 38-year-old man driving the GMC. His passenger, a 20-year-old man from Taber, died in hospital.
The male driver of the Escape received minor injuries. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
Robsart is located between Eastend and Consul on Highway 13.
