The Saskatchewan RCMP reports that Dwayne Maxie, who was wanted for one count of manslaughter, has been located and arrested by the Regina Police Service. He appears in Estevan Provincial Court at 9:30 this morning (Mon).
On December 3rd around 2:30 in the morning, Carlyle RCMP received a report of an injured person at a home on white Bear First Nation.
Officers found a 33-year-old man from Coronach dead. Two days later, police identified and charged two men. Twenty-two-year-old Jeremy Whitebear was charged with second degree murder and 26-year-old Dwayne Maxi, was charged with manslaughter. Warrants were issued for their arrest Whitebear was found on December 7th.
