Saskatchewan is plagued by two weather-related advisories issued by Environment Canada this morning.
A fog advisory runs over the province diagonally from La Loche southeast to Carnduff. The southwest corner of the province is blanketed with a freezing rain warning, as well. Coronach, Eastend, and Maple Creek are the affected communities in the region.
Highway Hotline reports that the fog advisory is causing some poor visibility near Regina, Weyburn, Moose Jaw, Yorkton, Biggar, North Battleford, Fort Qu’Appelle, Rosthern, Southey, Prince Albert, Meadow Lake, La Ronge and Findlater.
There are areas of zero visibility both in and around Saskatoon.
Travel is not recommended on all roads surrounding Shaunavon due to ice.
