If you have yet to drive through Saskatoon’s BHP Enchanted Forest, there is still time to do so.
The 26th edition of the family Christmas tradition runs every evening from 5:30 to 10:00pm until January 5th, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Dawn Woroniuk with the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation says this year’s theme is ‘Where Treetops Glisten.’
“Our new general manager Gerald Sorokan and his little elves have been so busy making that forest so much brighter that it’s got a whole new look. When you drive through the forestry farm park this year, it will make spirits bright.”
Woroniuk explains that all funds raised will go towards “building the bears a new home, so we’re raising funds for that. Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation is needing a new CT scanner. So, coming out to it isn’t just a family tradition. You are helping two really wonderful foundations that give back to our community.”
Passes are available at the gates for $35 or Shoppers Drug Mart for $30.
