The Saskatoon Police Service says early this morning a gas station was robbed.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Preston Avenue South which is where the Petro Can at Market Mall is located.
An employee told police that a male entered the business, demanded the till be opened and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. The suspect was armed with a knife at the time of the incident. He is described as having a thin build, wearing a black hoodie, black mask, black and white shoes and grey sweat pants. No one was injured.
