Regina Police say a death on Thursday is being investigated as a homicide.
The call came in around 5:50 p.m. of a seriously injured male in the area of 8th Avenue and Retallack Street. Officers located the victim on the ground with life threatening injuries. Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived and paramedics continued life saving measures but were unsuccessful.
The man’s death is being treated as a homicide and is being investigated by the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. No further details are being released.
This is Regina’s sixth homicide of 2024.
