Two fifteen-year-old boys are being charged with Regina’s sixth homicide of 2024.
Two youths are facing charges in relation to the death of a 30-year-old man on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
At approximately 5:50 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, Regina police received a report of a seriously injured man in the area of 8th Avenue and Retallack Street.
Officers arrived and found 30-year-old Charles Russell Thompson lying on the ground with multiple with stab wounds.
Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived, but despite continued life-saving measures, Thompson succumbed to his injuries on scene.
Following an investigation, two 15-year-olds were arrested on December 27th. They both face a second-degree murder charge and will make their first appearance on these charges in Regina Youth Court tomorrow.
