Tonight, on New Year’s Eve, there will be reduced hours at Saskatoon City Hospital Emergency Department.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority says it is due to physician illness.
Saskatoon City Hospital ED will open at 8:30 this morning and close at 6:00 p.m.
Regular hours resume on New Year’s Day from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Patients needing emergency department services after 6:00 p.m. this evening are advised to visit the emerge at either RUH or St. Paul’s.
And the SHA says for non-emergency medical concerns call HealthLine 811 or visit a walk-in clinic but check their hours because schedules may vary over the holidays.
