Bright lights of the Enchanted Forest helped put thousands in holiday spirit

Now that the BHP Enchanted Forest’s season is done, the numbers have been crunched, and it turned out to be the third busiest season of its 26 years. There were 83,540 visitors to the Holiday Light Tour, with a mixed bag of weather including extreme cold, heavy snow fall, and warmer temperatures. The Blue Cross Light Walk over the first two nights attracted more than 17,000 visitors.

Organizers are already planning for next year’s return to the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park in mid-November. Proceeds from the Enchanted Forest go to the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation and Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.
