Saskatoon Police Service says an early morning accident in the city on Sunday was fatal.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a single vehicle collision at Preston Avenue South and Stonebridge Common.

Arriving officers could see that a vehicle had collide with a brick wall.

An injured male inside was the only person in the vehicle. In a news release, police say life saving measures were attempted by the officers and paramedics, but the 36-year-old man succumbed to his injuries.
