The Regina Police Service is investigating a collision from yesterday morning that involved two marked RPS patrol vehicles.

At 9:20 a.m., officers responded to a collision near the intersection of 2nd Avenue north and Royal Street.

Upon arrival, police and EMS assisted two officers, who both sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Investigation revealed that both officers were responding to an in-progress call for service when the collision occurred.

The investigation continues, and because police vehicles were involved, the investigation is subject to review by a supervisor and then further scrutiny by the Regina Police Service Collision Review Board.
