The Prince Albert Grand Council has donated freshly harvested and packaged moose meat to the Prince Albert Food Bank.
The moose meat was acquired during what PAGC describes as a traditional hunting trip to the Porcupine Forest near Hudson’s Bay. The hunting party included Grand Chief Brian Hardlotte, alongside the heads of Urban Services, Education, and its Land Based program.
The Prince Albert Grand Council says the hunt is part of their ongoing efforts to address food insecurity and support the community during the winter season.
