Vaulted ceilings, four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, a fireplace, a home gym, and a private balcony: it could all be yours, but only if you purchase a ticket for the Spring 2025 Hospital Home Lottery.
Saskatoon City Hospital CEO Steve Shannon unveiled the $2.2 million grand prize show home today, just south of Saskatoon in Ravenswood Estates.
Shannon says, like every year, all funds raised will benefit the three hospitals in Saskatoon, and in turn, their patients.
“This is a great opportunity for you to support our three hospital foundations, but also a great way to feel good about what you’re doing. Would you like to win? For sure, but 90 per cent of people who buy tickets say, ‘I’d love to win a prize, but I’m already a winner because I’ve purchased a ticket and helped out the hospitals.”
St. Paul’s Hospital will invest the money into the By Your Side Kidney Care Campaign, and Royal University Hospital hopes to advance cutting-edge neurological care.
“At City Hospital, we are getting a new CT Scanner. (People from) 300 communities, over the past while, have all come into Saskatoon for various reasons to get a CT scan. A CT scan starts out your journey.”
Tickets can be purchased for $100 at hospitalhomelottery.org. The deadline to buy is April 17th.
