
Friday morning Canada’s new Prime Minister, Mark Carney, was sworn in at Rideau Hall in Ottawa. A trimmed down Cabinet was also sworn in. A news release from the federal government describes it as a new, leaner, focused Cabinet that includes returning ministers, seasoned leaders, and new voices as it delivers on the things that matter most to Canadians. Prime Minister Mark Carney says, ““This team is built for immediate action and focused on protecting Canadian workers, supporting their families, and growing this great country.”
The new Cabinet is as follows:
