
Lloydminster RCMP say four people have been arrested in connection to a traffic stop back on February 26th.
Around 12:40 a.m. on that date officers responded to an armed robbery at a Lloydminster home where they located a suspect vehicle and tried to pull it over, but the driver wouldn’t stop. The vehicle was disabled and four people tried to flee. Three were immediately taken into custody while a fourth tried to hide by climbing a tree. RCMP Police Dog Services, the RCMP helicopter and investigators tracked the individual and took them into custody without further incident. A search warrant turned up 26 grams of Methamphetamine, 26 grams of Fentanyl and 7 grams of Cocaine in addition to other evidence consistent with drug trafficking.
Thirty-three year old Yorkton resident, Jesse Dillon, 29-year-old Payton Armstrong and 24-year-old Dakota Frenchmen, both from Thunderchild First Nation and 28-year-old Dustin Harper from Onion Lake are all charged with Flight from Police; Operation of a Conveyance while Prohibited; Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine; Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine; Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl; Resist Arrest; Fail to Comply with Probation.
RCMP say an arrest warrant has been issued for Hayley Meili, a 23-year-old resident of Lloydminster and the investigation is ongoing with additional charges possible.
