
There is a potentially fatal batch of fentanyl circulating in Prince Albert.
The city’s Police Service released the alert yesterday following multiple overdoses in the last 24 hours in the community.
The police service advises the public that any drug not prescribed by a doctor or dispensed by a pharmacist can result in
serious injury or death.
Symptoms of an overdose may include slow or no breathing, gurgling, gasping or snoring; clammy and cool skin; blue lips or nails; and difficulty waking up or staying awake.
If you think you see someone experiencing an overdose, call 911 as soon as possible.
