Blades First Round Playoff Schedule Announced With Fan Bus Looking to go This Weekend to Calgary

Time is of the essence for anyone wanting to be on a fan bus traveling to Calgary for the first two games of the best-of-seven W-H-L Eastern Conference quarter-final series between the Saskatoon Blades and the Hitmen.

If there is enough interest, the plan is for the bus to leave around 8:30 on Friday morning and arrive at the Saddledome in time for Game 1 that evening. Game 2 is Sunday at 2 o’clock with the bus returning home right afterwards. Cost per person is $250, which includes game tickets for both games and the bus transportation. Saskatoon Blades Fan Bus to Calgary, Round 1 Playoffs, departing Sask-tel Center at 8:30 AM Friday, March 28th to attend the 7:00 PM Game in the Scotiabank Saddledome. Saturday no game, free time in Calgary. Sunday, March 30th, Game 2 at the Scotiabank Saddledome with a 2:00 PM start time. Travel back to Saskatoon after the game.

Cost per person will be $250 for the bus transportation and 1 game ticket for each game (2 games). 2 nights Hotel accommodations are in addition to the bus fee. We will block book rooms in one hotel if available.

Saskatoon, SK – The 2025 Western Hockey League (WHL) Playoffs presented by Nutrien are headed to the Bridge City next week!

The Saskatoon Blades are excited to announce the schedule for their Round 1 best-of-seven playoff series against the Calgary Hitmen. It’s a matchup 25 years in the making. For the first time since 2000, the Blades and Hitmen lock horns in postseason action.

The series kicks off Friday, March 28 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary for Game 1. Game 2 is Sunday, March 30 at 2:00pm before the series shifts back to ‘Toon Town. The Blades host Calgary for Game 3 on Tuesday, April 1 at SaskTel Centre, followed by Game 4 the following night. Puck drop is 7:00pm both nights.
