As of today (March 24th), it has been two years since 54-year-old Aaron Gamble’s body was found in a dumpster in the 2300 block of 17th Street West in Saskatoon. The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations, along with Gamble’s family, are asking for the public’s help to figure out what happened to him.
Saskatoon Police have described Gamble’s death as suspicious and they believe foul play may be involved. Aaron Gamble’s sister, Emilia Greyeyes says someone knows something and they may know who is involved. She adds that her brother didn’t deserve what happened to him. He was a grandfather from Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation.
The FSIN says in a news release, when Gamble was found, it was apparent that his body had been moved in attempts to conceal the crime.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or leave an anonymous tip through Crimestoppers.
