A Saskatoon Transit driver reported being threatened by a woman with a knife early Tuesday morning.
The Saskatoon Police Service says the call came in from the bus at 44th Street and 1st Avenue North at 12:40 a.m. The Transit operator said they had been threatened after declining to take the woman to a specific location.
Police took a suspect into custody without incident and seized a knife as well as two screw drivers. The bus driver wasn’t hurt.
A 20-year-old woman is charged with Uttering Threats, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and Carrying Concealed Weapon.
