Two occupants of a house in Prince Albert have been arrested after that residence was the target of a drive-by shooting early Monday morning.
According to a Prince Albert Police Service news release, officers were called to the 800 block of 15th Avenue East at around 7 a.m. on March 24 for a weapons complaint where a window was shot. Police found damage to a back window that appeared to be a bullet hole when they arrived.
Shortly afterwards, a woman was detained outside the residence while a man was located inside the house and was also detained for a weapons investigation. Both were arrested after being found to have multiple outstanding warrants. No one was injured in the incident.
Further investigation led PAPS to believe that the house was shot at by an occupant of a white SUV with no license plate. Around 4:45 p.m. on Monday, an officer located a suspect vehicle unoccupied.
Police continue to investigate the incident in which there has yet to be an arrest in relation to the shooting. Anyone with information that may assist with the investigation is asked to call Prince Albert Police or Crime Stoppers.
