March was a dry month over most of Saskatchewan with the exception of a March 27th and 28th snowstorm.

The snow was enough to push areas along the Yellowhead Highway to near the monthly mean.

Warmer than normal conditions were experienced in the extreme south and some western parts of the province. It was much colder than normal in northern Saskatchewan.
