Saskatoon Police responded around 7:30 Monday morning to an alert about people causing a disturbance at a motel in the 600 block of Idylwyld Drive North, which is where the Midtown Inn is. A news release from the Police Service says when patrol officers arrived, they saw a man with a sawed-off firearm. He refused to obey commands, leading to a physical altercation before being eventually taken into custody. The 19-year-old is facing numerous weapons-related offences.
