
The Water Security Agency is forecasting an above normal spring runoff for the middle section of the grainbelt, including the Saskatoon, Outlook, Elbow, Watrous, Last Mountain, as well as the northern Moose Jaw and Regina areas.
Near normal runoffs are forecast for the Scott, North Battleford, Prince Albert, Melfort, Nipawin, Hudson and Yorkton areas.
A below normal runoff will occur over much of the far north stretching as far south as Spiritwood and Waskesiu.
The runoff is over or nearing completion in most areas south of the TransCanada highway.
Current reservoir levels at Lake Diefenbaker are more than one meter higher than average for this time of year.
