A missing man, 62-year-old Dilbert Thomas, was last seen in Prince Albert around 9:40 p.m. on March 30th in the 3600 block of 2nd Avenue West. His family says it’s not common for Dilbert to have no contact with family for this long.
The Prince Albert Police Service had previously issued a picture of him but are now looking for help to identify an unknown male who may be able to assist in finding Dilbert. Police say he isn’t believed to be a suspect.
The unknown man is described as tall, with a slender build and he had a black toque with white lettering or a symbol on the front. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or submit and anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN) and Prince Albert Grand Council’s Search, Rescue & Recovery (PAGC-SSR) is also calling on the public for help in locating Dilbert, who is from the PBCN community of Southend. The PBCN says his vehicle and phone have been located, but he remains missing.
