Thousands of people in Saskatchewan have already made their choice in the federal election.
Elections Canada reports 206,754 Saskatchewan resident placed an “x” on the ballot during the four days of advanced polls over the Easter long weekend from April 18-21. That is about 12 per cent above the last federal election four years ago.

To break it down even further, Prince Albert saw 13,250 voters utilize the advance polls. Regina—Lewvan had a turnout of 19,869, Regina—Qu’Appelle with 16,895, and Regina—Wascana had 19,868. Saskatoon South had a few more at 20,748, Saskatoon—University saw 20,624, and Saskatoon West tallied 13,853 votes.
