The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating an early morning stabbing.  Officers responded to an injured person report around 2:00 a.m. Thursday at an apartment building in the 400 block of Avenue P South.

A male victim who had suffered multiple stab wounds was located outside the building.

In a news release the police say their investigation indicated a fight had taken place inside a suite at the apartment building and bear spray had also been discharged.

The victim was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services West for treatment of what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

No suspects have been located but the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
