
A 17-year-old girl was arrested in Saskatoon following a stabbing Thursday morning.
Just after 7:00, police were called to the area of 20th Street West and Avenue D South for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with several stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers say the stabbing happened in an apartment building in the 200 block of Avenue D South.
About 40 minutes later, police were called to the 300 block of 22nd Street West for another report of an injured person. Arriving officers located a girl with an injured hand and determined that she was also the suspect in the earlier stabbing.
She has now been charged with aggravated assault.
