Pasqua First Nation #79 is building a new $9.95 million dollar Elders Lodge. The facility will offer services to Elders such as recreation, socialization, culture, and personal care. Pasqua is home to 42 Elders with an additional 62 who reside off reserve. The 25 thousand square foot facility features a 12-bed personal care unit, commercial kitchen, dentist and doctor’s office, hair salon, multi-media theatre, and library. The sod turning takes place next Friday. The tentative completion date is October 2021.
