Metis Nation-Saskatchewan partnered with the Village of La Loche, the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation, Metis Local #39 and the Methy Housing Corporation for the La Loche Tiny Home project.

The MN-S investment of $883,000 dollars went towards the construction of 6 of the total 20 affordable homes that were built through the project.

On February 9th, the MN-S Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure hosted a virtual community engagement session. During the session, citizens expressed their need for better housing at a reasonable cost.

Twenty La Loche residents will call the Tiny Home project home by the end of the month.
