A 20-year-old man has died while on remand at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre. The inmate was found unresponsive in his cell yesterday (Wed) around 10 p.m. The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety says no foul play is suspected at this time. The Saskatoon Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating, and the Ministry will conduct an internal investigation.
