Six more Saskatchewan liquor permits were auctioned off today (Wed) with two more days to go. The permit auctions began on the 15th with 35 in all. As of 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, one auction was still ongoing, with a bid of $810,000 for a Yorkton permit.
Also today, a Regina permit sold for $1,555,500, a Saskatoon permit for $1,650,000, and in Buffalo Narrows, a permit sold for $1.410,000. As well, the final total for a Melfort permit was $776,100 and $685,000 in Esterhazy.
