The launch of the Saskatchewan United Party is Tuesday night in Saskatoon.
Supporters, staff, executives, volunteers, and the leader Nadine Wilson are going to be in attendance for the meet and greet reception at Prairieland Park.
Organizers describe the party as the new centre right party in the province seeking to challenge the dominance of the governing Saskatchewan Party.
Wilson resigned from the Sask. Party caucus to become an independent MLA on September 30, 2021, after the party said she misrepresented her vaccination status.
She then became an Independent MLA representing the riding of Saskatchewan Rivers. Wilson was first elected in 2007.
In September 2021, the COVID-19 proof of vaccination policy was still in effect. The proof of vaccination policy ended in February last year.
