The Saskatoon Blades will make a selection in Wednesday’s C-H-L Import Draft.
The Bridge City Bunch have the 56th overall pick and will use it after dealing 18-year-old Czech defenceman Tomas Zizka (pictured) to Swift Current Sunday for a conditional sixth round pick in the 2026 W-H-L Prospects Draft. The Blue and Gold have 19-year-old winger Egor Sidorov as their other import for next season. The Prince Albert Raiders have the 15th overall selection Wednesday.
In addition, seven members of this past season’s Blades’ team either already have, are or will attend an N-H-L team’s development camp. Captain Aidan De La Gorgendiere is at Colorado’s camp, Jake Chiasson with Edmonton, Sidorov with Anaheim, Tanner Molendyk with Nashville, Brandon Lisowsky and Austin Elliott with Toronto and Trevor Wong is at Dallas’ development camp.
