The dangerous persons alert for Montreal Lake Cree Nation issued by the Saskatchewan RCMP was cancelled as of 10:20 p.m. Thursday.
The Saskatchewan RCMP say they have not identified any immediate risk to public safety but the wanted person, which is 29-year-old Justice Bird, is still at large.
One other person was taken into custody and one injured person was reported to police. They were taken to hospital but there is no update on their condition.
Justice Bird is described as being 5’9″ and weighing approximately 166 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes and has several facial tattoos. He was last known to be wearing a white ball cap and black and white clothes.

Thursday Waskesiu RCMP had issued a dangerous person alert around 3:40 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports of two male suspects armed with a firearm. Police remain on scene and the public can expect to see an increased police presence in the Montreal Lake Cree Nation area.
