CJWW is proud to partner with SaskTIP as we try to solve their “Crime of the Month”. The November Crime of the Month is “Two Deer Beheaded”. On November 3 and 4 Moose Mountain conservation officers received two TIPP calls regarding a white-tailed deer buck shot south of Broadview, and a mule deer buck shot south of Moosomin. Both deer had only their heads and hind quarters removed, leaving the rest of the edible meat to waste. Both deer are believed to have been shot either the night of November 2, or the early morning of November 3. Officers were able to collect some evidence at the scene but are asking for your assistance in identifying who is responsible.
