Three Lloydminster residents have been arrested and face multiple drug-related and drug trafficking charges following a Tuesday search warrant executed at a Lloydminster residence by the Lloydminster R-C-M-P General Investigation Section, Lloydminster R-C-M-P Crime Reduction Unit and Lloydminster Police Dog Services.
The search was in response to community complaints of drug activity in the neighbourhood and resulted in the seizure of suspected cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl – plus a stolen 2018 Arctic Cat Snowmobile (pictured). Forty-year-old Cody Mackenzie and 34-year-old Sara Mackenzie were both charged with possession of methampletamine, cocaine and fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking and fail to comply with conditions while 33-year-old Brandon O’Kane was charged with possession of stolen property over five thousand dollars plus possession of methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking. The Mackenzies were remanded in custody while O’Kane was released on a release order with all three scheduled to appear in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Provincial Court on Thursday.
