The power went off in parts of Saskatoon’s east side late Thursday afternoon. In a social media post from SaskPower, the Crown Corporation stated the power outage affected Silverwood, Evergreen, University Heights and Willow Grove. Crews were dispatched at 4:10 p.m. Then at ten to 5, SaskPower posted that crews were repairing damaged equipment and power should be restored around 6. As of late afternoon, Saskatoon Light & Power wasn’t reporting any outages for its service area.
