Three men have been charged with a shooting Sunday in the La Ronge area that put a man in hospital with serious injuries.
One man is still at large and RCMP have issued a warrant for his arrest. 19-year-old Drayden Charles is five-foot-nine and weighs 130 pounds.
Two other men—21-year-old Cameron Ratt and 24-year-old Jaron Halkett of La Ronge—were arrested on Monday evening after RCMP and SWAT teams surrounded a residence in Bell’s Point.
RCMP have laid the following charges against all three men:
– one count, robbery with firearm, Section 344, Criminal Code;
– one count, discharge firearm with intent, Section 244(b), Criminal Code;
– one count, reckless discharge of a firearm, Section 244.2(3), Criminal Code;
– one count, aggravated assault, Section 268(2), Criminal Code;
– two counts, possession of a firearm/ammunition knowingly without a license, Section 92(3), Criminal Code; and
– one count, unlicensed possession of a firearm, Section 91(3), Criminal Code.
Drayden Charles is also charged with:
– one count, possession of a firearm/ammunition while prohibited, Section 117.01(3), Criminal Code; and
– one count, fail to comply with probation order, Section 733.1(1), Criminal Code.
