The Saskatchewan Major Crimes Unit says four adults found dead in rural home near Neudorf on Sunday evening were members of the same family.
The RCMP were conducting a wellness check and found the bodies two adult parents and two adult children. The victims have been identified and other family members have been notified.
Based on the ongoing preliminary investigation, RCMP says there is no reason to believe there is any risk to the public.
Members of the Major Crimes and General Investigation Section were still on the scene conducting further examination and interviews on Tuesday afternoon.
No other details were released and RCMP indicate updates will be provided when possible.
The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service has transported the bodies to Regina, where autopsies will take place this week.
Neudorf is located about 35 kilometres southwest of Melville.
