A news release from Saskatchewan RCMP reports that the autopsy of the body found two days after a fire at a North Battleford home has been identified. She is a woman from North Battleford and her family has been notified. The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency continues to investigate the cause and origin of the fire, with assistance from the RCMP.
Emergency crews responded to the house fire on Saturday evening and the woman’s remains were discovered on Monday. The home at 952-105th Street in North Battleford is considered a total loss from the fire damage. A male jumped out of the second-floor window during the fire and was transported to hospital for minor cuts and lacerations.
The address is the same as one of the addresses listed in court proceedings related to Tiki Laverdiere’s death in 2019. Ten people were convicted her killing.
